Today I'm unveiling Skeletons, the second set of undead monsters that I've created so far. These bundles of bones may look creaky, but don't be fooled - they're deadly as ever.
Thanks! I thought I'd mix things up a little from a completely "human" set of skeletons with the dwarven skeleton. And a dwarf just isn't a dwarf without his beard. =)
Actually it is quite realistic. With the average dwarf consuming 4 to 6 pints of beer per day, over a lifetime of drinking an average dwarf will end up pouring a great deal of beer into the fine whiskers on their face. The powerful alcohol contained in potent dwarven brews imbues a pair of unexpected, but welcome results: One, it makes dwarven bears appear quite shiny and clean and Two, it works as preservative, which allows their skeletal remains to remain proudly beard-clad well into the next life. =)
Very nice. I love the dwarven skeleton with a beard.

DeleteI find that horribly unrealistic, hair lasting the decomposition process is just ridiculous.

DeleteThey look awesome, as always. But why "skeletonfall"? Just because it's Autumn? Or is it a reference to the new James Bond movie?
ReplyDeleteHaha, it's a little bit of both. =)
